Mari Nicol has always enjoyed reading but her passion is in crafting stories of her own.  She can't remember a time when she didn't have heroes and heroines, villains and victims, and others occupying her imagination, urging her to tell their stories, asking "what if" and then exploring the possibilities of their lives.

Having recently left her day job, Mari now has more time to focus on writing, travel, and family.  She is currently working on three romantic suspense stories set in the Caribbean Island of St. Maarten.  She is fueled by an ever-present cup of tea (oolong and green are her favourites), and inspired by music (current kick: Shaboozey).

Home is in Canada's capital, the city of Ottawa.
